If you'd like to get tattooed by me, please read the information below carefully. Once you've read everything, I'd be happy to hear from you.
Please allow up to 5 days for me to respond.
Your patience is greatly appreciated.
The design
Describe your tattoo idea in full detail (including the size in centimeters) and the location on your body where you would like the tattoo.Email me 3-5 images that you would like to use for reference. These images are important because they allow me to visualize and design the tattoo properly. If possible ask someone to take a picture of the location on your body where you would like to get tattooed and send it to me as well.I will not copy other artists’ designs.Usually at the beginning of your appointment we will discuss and finalize your tattoo design together. For larger or more complex projects you may need to come to the studio for a consultation.I won’t send out designs prior to the session. We will have time to tweak minor things on the day of your appointment. As all tattoo projects are different, they take different amounts of time and effort to get done. If I have all the information and pictures I’ll get back to you with the estimated cost.
Booking an appointment
My working hours are from Monday to Friday, from 11:00 to 18:00. I don't work on weekends and public holidays.Generally, smaller/medium-sized tattoos don't take up a whole day, so appointments can start at 11:00 or 15:00. Of course, in certain cases, this can vary, it's not set in stone. If there are days when you definitely won't be available (due to work, university, etc.), please let me know in advance so we can save time. For women, it's important to consider that it's not recommended to get tattooed during their period. And it's prohibited during pregnancy and breastfeeding.I will finalize your appointment after receiving the deposit.
Deposit
The deposit is non-refundable and its amount depends on the specific project. The deposit reserves all your booking dates and will be applied to the final tattoo session if the project requires multiple sessions. If it is a single session, it will be applied to that instead. The deposit can be paid via Revolut, bank transfer, or in cash at the studio at a pre-arranged time.If you need to change the date of your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you must let me know at least 72 hours prior to the session. A new deposit will be required to continue working together if you cancel or reschedule with less than 72 hours notice. You can reschedule your appointment only once without losing your deposit.
Preparations
Make sure to be well-rested before coming into the appointment and eat a meal beforehand. It's worth moisturizing the area with body lotion in the week leading up to the session.Avoid sunburn, as it can make tattooing impossible.Do not consume alcohol 24 hours before getting tattooed! Please do not take any painkillers! Tattooing is not a pleasant sensation, but various medications can hinder the process and healing. If you feel unwell please stay at home.If this is your first tattoo, don't worry, don't stress about it!
The session
Please come alone without any companions. Bring some snacks. Tattoos are much less painful when your body is nourished and fed. Make sure to wear comfortable clothing that helps with the tattooing process - if you’re getting a tattoo on your arm, a tank top or sleeveless t-shirt will be helpful. - if you’re getting a tattoo on your leg, it’s better to bring shorts. If you are late, please inform me via email or call the studio. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notification, the session will be canceled without a refund. If you do not show up for the appointment – you will lose your deposit, and we will not be able to work together.
Payment
Payments for tattoo sessions are due immediately at the end of each session.I accept cash, Revolut and bank transfer as the only payment methods.
Aftercare
In some cases the aftercare my vary, so we will discuss it after the session. However, the following points must be applied to every tattoo. It is forbidden to soak the fresh tattoo for two weeks (swimming, sauna, and beach activities are excluded), please consider this when scheduling your appointment.Showering is allowed, and in fact, necessary!Do not expose the fresh tattoo to direct sunlight for one month, as it can cause damage to it.Avoid exercising or lifting heavy objects for a couple of days depending on the style / placement of your new tattoo.
Second skin
After your tattoo is completed, I will clean the area thoroughly. Then I will apply a second skin bandage directly over the fresh tattoo. This bandage is designed to protect the tattoo from bacteria, dirt, and friction while allowing it to breathe and heal.First stepsLeave the second skin on for 24 to 72 hours. Do not remove the second skin bandage during this time. You can shower with the bandage on but it’s not fully waterproof. Do not soak it.Monitor the tattoo, it’s normal for some ink, blood, and plasma to collect under the bandage. The bandage may look a bit cloudy or have some fluid beneath it; this is also normal. However if you notice an excessive amount of blood underneath the bandage, take it off. After 24 to 72 hours carefully remove the second skin.To remove, gently peel back the bandage from the edge, slowly and carefully, to avoid any damage to the tattoo. Removing it in the shower under warm water can help ease the process.Once the bandage is off, wash your tattoo gently with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. Use your clean hands (not a washcloth) to clean the tattoo.Pat the area dry with a clean paper towel or allow it to air dry. Avoid using a regular towel as it may harbor bacteria. Post-Second skin careDo this routine 2-3 times per day for 7 to 12 days after removing the bandage.Wash the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and mild soap.Pat the area dry with a clean paper towel or allow it to air dry. Avoid using a regular towel in the first few days as it may harbor bacteria. Once the tattoo is clean and dry, apply a VERY thin layer of Bepanthen creme.General aftercare tipsKeep the tattoo out of direct sunlight until it’s fully healed, as UV rays can cause fading.Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo as it heals. Any scabbing or peeling skin should be left alone to fall off naturally.Don’t submerge the tattoo in water (baths, swimming pools, hot tubs) until it’s fully healed, which typically takes 2-4 weeks.Wear loose clothing over the tattoo to avoid irritation.Once fully healed, protect your tattoo with sunscreen whenever it’s exposed to sunlight to maintain its vibrancy.Following these steps should help your tattoo heal effectively while maintaining the quality of the design.
